Title: Real Marriage Mark and Grace Driscoll have caused quite the controversy. Real Marriage attempt to be an honest, biblical look at marriage that tackles every topic from date night to sex. The book has a lot of positives, and even more flaws. I am not out to bash Driscoll, or praise him. Instead, I want to offer a balanced review of Real Marriage and its content. |

Title: Blue Like Jazz Blue Like Jazz is one of those books I read because so many people loved it. The first endorsement on the back is praise from Brian MacLaren...that is a bad sign. Although the book has a couple positive moments, overall it is a spiritualized tirade against Christians and the right wing. Throw in some crude language here and there, and you have Miller's Jazz. |

Title: Counterfeit Gospels Wax describes the gospel as a three legged stoo. The book is separated into three sections based on this stool. Each section describes a certain aspect of the gospel, and then proceeds to reveal some "counterfeit gospels" that have appeared out of a poor understanding of that facet of the gospel itself. If you want an easily-accessible book to help you grow in discernment, look no further than Counterfeit Gospels. |
