Evolution: A Fairy Tale for Grownups (book review)
Evolution: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups is the latest book from Ray Comfort on the topic of creation versus evolution. It is safe to say that if a book has the name ‘Ray Comfort’ on the cover, it comes with my recommendation. And this latest publication is no exception. The books cover description is, “101 questions to shake believers’ faith in the theory [of evolution].” And that is exactly what it does.
Each ‘chapter’ is a question (usually in a multiple choice or true/false format), that portrays information on evolution, usually in the form of a quote. Which is the unique thing about the book. With the exception of a sentence here and there, and the final chapter, Ray actually does very little writing in the book. Instead, probably 90% of it is quotes from books, magazines, websites, etc. Most of the quotes are from evolutionists admitting that the theory is basically a huge gaping hole that has no proof, but they choose to believe it anyway. I do not want to give away any of the direct quotes, so buy the book so you can see them for yourself! I do recommend, however, that when you sit down to read it you keep some sticky notes and a pen handy, so you can mark some of the shocking (and revealing) quotes Ray has found.
If you have any friends or family who are convinced that evolution is proven and accepted without any doubt, this is a perfect book to get in their hands. It gives people information on evolution directly from the people who support it, causing one to ask: if this is what those who support it so passionately are saying, how factual could the theory of evolution really be? In addition to that, Ray gives a very clear and Biblical gospel message at the end. I cannot imagine how long it took for Ray to do the research for this book, but it has paid off. So, whether you want to reach a friend or just do some reading on the topic, Evolution: A Fairy Tale for Grownups, is a great place to turn. Click here to buy now.
